Apprenticeships

Thinking about Apprenticeships or Advanced Apprenticeships?

Connect 2 Care is delighted to be able to offer Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care, as well as help businesses receive the financial and other support they need when they take on an apprentice. Managing an apprenticeship is easier than you think, enhances the skill base of your business and helps provide the trained care staff you'll need in the future. If you're an apprentice, the depth of the qualification will help you develop and move forward in your career, setting you on the road to achieve your goals and realise your ambitions.

An Advanced Apprenticeship at level three builds on the skills of an Apprenticeship at level two. Both qualifications create an essential portfolio of skills, each being recognised by a certificate award and a final certificate for successfully completing all areas of the apprenticeship. Creating skills vital for carers and their employer's business, the apprenticeships provide a Diploma in health and social care, technical certificate in health and social care (adults), as well as certificates in the key skills of communications (literacy and speaking), application of number (numeracy), in addition to understanding employment rights and responsibilities and personal learning and thinking skills. As learning is carried out in your workplace, it can be tailored so you get exactly the skills you need – then you can apply them straightaway.
